Let's ask Canada to be the 51st state, the 52nd, the 53rd, and .............. the 63rd!
Canada has 10 provinces and three territories. If Wyoming can be a state, so can they all. The price of syrup will probably come down (no tariffs) and we can learn French.
So Trump wants to make Canada the 51st state. A lot of people don’t take this seriously, but wait. First of all, let’s look at all the provinces and territories of Canada:
Provinces
Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.
Territories
Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.
Now, the population of Canada is currently around 40 million. The population of Wyoming is less than 600,000, of North Dakota is just under 800,000, of Rhode Island only about a million. So we can’t offer just one statehood to Canada! With ten provinces and three territories, they are probably going to insist on 13 states, and of course they would be within their rights.
Each one would have two senators, thus adding 26 members to the U.S. Senate. O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! Universal health care: check. Languages? We would be trilingual, English, Spanish, and now French: Check. What about maple syrup? We would have full access to Canada’s Strategic Maple Syrup Reserve, with no tariffs: Check.
The advantages of the U.S. becoming part of Canada… oops, Canada becoming part of the United States, would be endless. We could even defund our police and put Royal Canadian Mounted Police at every traffic corner (and all those horses would be American, at long last.)
Let’s do it. Let’s invite them in. We have nothing to lose but our own provincialism and national chauvinism.
PS— Mexico has 31 states.

Nice humour. I love it. Your humour reveals just how preposterous Trump's colonial hopes are, thank you for the laugh, Michael!
Great idea! I love it! and thanks for the laugh.
