We wish everyone a very Happy New Year, even if it starts off full of uncertainties.

Speaking of uncertainties: Despite my recent alert that it was unsure how often we would be posting here, many paid subscribers were kind enough not to unsubscribe.

But we can’t in good conscience take your money (and remember, you get this newsletter free whether you support it financially or not.)

So we have paused subscription payments for now. If, as we hope, posting picks up again soon, we will consider turning it back on.
